Wicklow Brave secured his third win in-a-row in a hot looking bumper at Tipperary.

The 5/2 favourite was seen going well into the straight here and was ridden by Patrick Mullins to hit the front with a furlong to go. He kept up the gallop to beat Western Boy (9/2) by two lengths. Upsanddowns was a head back in third at 9/2 (from 13/2 in the morning).

Patrick Mullins commented: “He seems to be better in better races and a fast pace suits him. He’s a fair horse and he’s improving with every run which is amazing.

“He handled good ground well, but we don’t know about soft ground yet. We’ll have to try him on it. I might try and twist dad’s arm to get him to run him in Cheltenham in November in a bumper, but he’ll probably go hurdling soon.”
