After winning the second on Ballychorus Adrian Heskin doubled-up in the fifth, the Ryans Cleaning Chase, as he guided Perfect Promise to victory for Jimmy Mangan.

Second in the Galway Blazers over the course and distance on her last start the seven-year-old daughter of Presenting was sent off an 11/4 chance.

She made virtually all today, pinging the last two before keeping on well when ridden in the straight. Shantou Flyer finished five lengths back in second under Mark Walsh for Colin Bowe while the 5/2 favourite Urano was a further eleven lengths back in third under Ruby Walsh for Willie Mullins.

Jimmy Mangan said afterwards: "Her big aim is the Munster National on October 11th and today's race was the only one for her before then.

"Davy Russell (regular rider) said not go run in the Kerry National as it (Listowel) would be too sharp and she also needs a bit of distance

"She's an incredible mare and I have a little inkling to run her at Liverpool (Grand National) eventually but we'll take it race by race."

The winner is owned by Janet Reader, daughter of winning breeder Geoff Hubbard, of Strong Promise fame.
