Hoke Colburn kept the ball rolling in a fabulous week for the On The Green Syndicate at Punchestown today, as the Brian McMahon trained gelding landed the Barry Geraghty Autobiography Handicap Chase for his enthusiastic owners.

The eight year old son of Beneficial won four times in Britain before joining Clare based McMahon in December 2018 and today, under jockey Philip Enright, bagged a first Irish win when beating Chief Of Police by two and a half lengths.

McMahon later revealed “the On The Green Syndicate are an awful enthusiastic bunch of owners, they are just back golfing this week so to throw in the winner as well is mighty!”

He added “he's been very unlucky. Eoin (Mahon) was very unlucky on him when he got pushed wide at the second last in Clonmel and things didn't go to plan in the Ladies National.

“His jumping is his forte and that was brilliant.”
