Humble Glory gave Gordon Elliott a double on the card at Punchestown today when staying on stoutly to land the concluding mares bumper. Mollys Glory another daughter of Fame And Glory, looked set for victory in the two-mile-two contest when kicking for home turning into the straight.

She was chased down by Humble Glory inside the final furlong with Jamie Codd sending his mount on for a two-and-a-half length win.

13/8 favourite Angels Dawn stayed on to claim the runner-up spot close home.

9/4 shot Humble Glory had been runner-up on her first start for Elliott, over hurdles at Tramore three weeks ago.

Speaking by phone Elliott said:- “The run in Tramore did her the world of good. She will go back hurdling and will be a nice mare over a trip in the spring.”
