Three of them traded at odds-on in the run on the betting exchanges, but in the end it was Jealika (25/1) that out-pointed Bobby Jean and Battleroftheboyne who had both shaped as likely winners, of the #19 Punters Pack Handicap at Limerick.

Bobby Jean (2/1 favourite) got to the front over a furlong out but she was soon pressed by Battleroftheboyne.

However neither could resist the late run of the Conor Hoban-ridden Jealika, as the Diamond Green filly finished off well from off the pace.

The outsider led in the last strides for a neck and a three parts of a length verdict over Bobby Jean and Battleroftheboyne.

Mark Fahey has care of Jealika for owner/breeder Jean Bird and he said: "She has run three times on soft ground and has run well each time. We'll go for something similar next."

The Stewards fined Mark Fahey, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Jealika, the winner of this race, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91.

S. Foley, rider of September Lily trained by C.W.J. Farrell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was very keen early on.
