Jack Hackett was left clear to land the rated novice chase in Punchestown under Rachael Blackmore.

The leader came under pressure as 10/11 favourite Tiger Voice joined him, going much the better, and took a narrow lead at the second last.

The latter took a crashing fall there, though, leaving Jack Hackett clear of Touch Of Oscar

The leader was hesitant at the last but kept on to come in by seven lengths at 4/1. Touch Of Oscar plugged on for second at 7/2.

Trainer Dot Love said: "We tried him over hurdles a few times but his jumping is what gets him there, he's a magnificent jumper.

“We were very pleased today and Rachael gave him a class ride.

“He's fit, he's well and he loves jumping. Now he might get a little rest as he's been running quite consistently lately.”
