Navan race on the Flat this afternoon with seven races starting at 1.05 pm. The ground is yielding to soft after 11mm of rain and there’s a risk of light showers today.

The Curragh race tomorrow and after 15mm of rain it’s yielding to soft, soft in places on the straight course and yielding on the round course.

There’s a risk of showers throughout today and it should be mainly dry tomorrow. They’ll be racing on the far side of the track with the stalls in the centre for sprint races.

Kilbeggan also race tomorrow and it’s yielding ground there following 14mm of rain with a mainly dry forecast.

Leopardstown got the rain too (14mm in total yesterday and overnight) ahead of their meeting on Saturday and it’s currently yielding ground, soft in places.

Showers are forecast for this evening and there may be further scattered showers between now and Saturday which is set to be dry.

Dundalk and Cork race on Sunday, and ahead of Flat racing at the latter it’s good to yielding on the round course and good, good to firm in places on the straight course following 8mm of rain.

The forecast is dry for the coming days and there’s selective watering taking place on the straight course.
