Once again nothing from off the pace was able to land a blow against the prominent racers in the Lengthen Your Odds With BetVictor Handicap as Macho Time (10s into 7/1 at the off) came out on top under Shane Kelly.

The Camacho gelding, who was quickly reloaded after breaking through the front of the stalls before the race got under way, got away well and tracked the front-running 125/1 outsider Stamp Of Authority

The pair had a great tussle over the final quarter-mile with Macho Time just proving the stronger to claim a half-length victory.

The slow-starting Facethepuckout (7/1) finished a further five and a half lengths away in third.

The winning 4-year-old, rated 86 after two juvenile victories for Karl Burke, was registering his first success in Ireland off a mark of 63.

Winning trainer Eamonn O'Connell said: “The step up (in trip) has helped him out, we've kept stepping him up a furlong and it looks like he'll even stay a bit further.

“He might jump a hurdle next spring. We'll keep him going for the winter for a bit and bring him to Dundalk.

“He handles that deep ground but also won on good to firm as a two-year-old.

“We might run him once more before the end of the season and see how we get on. He's good and tough.”
