At odds of even money Agusta Gold lived up to her market billing at the first time of asking in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race at Tramore.

Patrick Mullins kept it simple on the daughter of Gold Well, always having her in a prominent position.

When he asked for more inside the last the five-year-old kept on well for a six length win over Late Again

Winning trainer Mag Mullins said: "I'm delighted with that, she is a lovely mare.

"I bought her at the Derby Sales. She is from the family of Farmer Jack and I like her a lot.

"She is going to be a real chasing mare, she is a smasher at home.

"She was bit unlucky with racing called off the few days she was in.

"She gets the bonus for winning that and she is owned by a great bunch of lads and they are delighted.

"Patrick gave her a lovely ride and I think she is a very good mare."
