Big fields are the order of the day at Clonmel with a bumper eight-race card going to post at 4:55. Hell Cat Maggie has been placed on her last four outings over hurdles and she will be expected to finally get off the mark in the opening contest, the BBQ Evening At Clonmel Races Maiden Hurdle.

The Barry Geraghty ridden five-year-old will have most to fear from Ballintotty Boy and Jolaine who both have solid form to their respective names.

Edward O'Grady trains Hell Cat Maggie and he also looks to have strong claims with Gallant Tipp in the Go Racing In South East 5 For #50 Beginners Chase.

The six-year-old gelding, who was Grade Two-placed over hurdles, put in a respectable performance on his debut over fences at Limerick last month and he can be expected to come on plenty for that experience. Dushybeag Dale Street Presenting Beara and Jansboy are others with strong claims in this three-mile contest.

O'Grady saddles Time Please and Suffren in the Christopher Memorial Beginners Chase, and the former is sure to have plenty of supporters after finishing just a close second at Killarney on his last start. Chill ran well at Kilbeggan recently and he looks a big danger, while Sizing India Ring Ben Limpopo Tom and Akinspirit are others to consider.

The Family Fun Evening At Clonmel Races is the first of three handicap hurdles on the card, with Cordelia Belle the stand-out name after she won a competitive contest at Punchestown on her last start.

In what looks set to be a keenly-contested race, Lost Book Danequest He's Our Man Luimneach Abu and Strain Of Fame are others who can be expected to go well. Res Ipsa Loquitur finish a good third at Down Royal on her last outing and she could be the one to side with in the first division of the Go Racing In South East Voucher For Father's Day Handicap Hurdle, while Mossy Island should run well in the second division which looks a much more open affair. Offside Rule and Fitzgutentyte finished first and second at Tramore recently and they take each other on again in the Clonmel Show Sunday 6th July Handicap Chase. Theroadtocroker is an interesting contender in this two-and-a-quarter-mile contest and he is sure to be well supported, while others to consider are Pat Garrett Old Supporter and Massinis Adventure

The Music After Racing From 'Legends' Flat Race rounds off proceedings at 8:50 and Oscar'swan Daring Carlotta Famous Katie Isaac Bell and Little Haarth appear the major players.
