The 11/8 shot Mozoltov sent favourite backers home happy as he took the Kevin Frost Memorial Bumper over 2m 3f for the father and son team of Willie and Patrick Mullins (third father & son pair to win at Limerick today).

The consistent son of Kayf Tara was recording his second bumper success today after winning easily at Thurles in January.

He since finished a well beaten second behind the smart Clonbanan Lad at Naas last month.

Given a patient ride by Patrick Mullins the 6yo gelding raced in last of the five runners for much of the contest (Deep Trouble unseated his rider Declan Lavery at the start).

As they entered the straight he moved into fourth and was then ridden into third under two furlongs out.

He led under a furlong from home and stayed on best from there drawing on to score by four lengths from Ted Veale back in second at 7/2 under Kevin Power.

The second favourite Kilcrea at 9/4 could only manage third a further length and a half back under Jane Mangan for her father Jimmy.

Winning rider Patrick Mullins said afterwards: "We always felt that he was one of our best.

"We were gutted he was beaten the last day but he raced a bit keen.

"The whole thing today was about getting him settled and if he settled we knew he would win."
