The stand's side is where he wanted to be and Patrick Mullins brought home favourite Masons Daughter in the Racing June 28th Mares (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race to complete a Tipperary double for his father Willie.

For good measure Masons Daughter (9/10 favourite) was followed home by stable companion Getoutameway (8/1 into 4/1)

Patrick Mullins had to come back out around a course marker — the final hurdle wing — but that made no difference as Mason Daughter beat Getoutameway by eight lengths. The latter had made a good effort after taking over six and a half furlongs out.

"I ride her every morning at home and she is quite a tricky madam. It was a very good performance considering how keen she was and giving away a lot of weight," said Patrick Mullins.

"I think we'll go jumping now and she got black-type in bumpers and I expect her to get black-type over hurdles too. She's not the biggest but is strong and is also hard on herself at home too."

The earlier Closutton winner was Calie Du Mesnil (under David Mullins) in the mares maiden hurdle.

Mr A.J. Fitzgerald, rider of Elsa Of Arendelle trained by John Gerard Fitzgerald, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran very green.
