Nessun Dorma (11/10f) was clearly the one to beat in the concluding mile and five maiden at Ballinrobe and he duly dominated from the front.

Colin Keane sent him for home outside the two marker and the pair powered around the bend for a comfortable victory by three lengths. Tornado Watch (5/2 from 10/3) got up for second from Awayinthewest at 4/1.

Colin Keane said: "It was very straightforward and they thought he'd be keen the last day so they dropped him in but he actually gave him (Patrick Mullins) a great ride.

"He (Willie Mullins) said not to complicate it today and any time anything came to him he picked up and he did it easy."
