New manager starts at Limerick Racecourse

The Directors of Limerick Racecourse have announced the appointment of Emma White as General

Manager. Emma will start her role today, Monday January 24.

Emma joins Limerick Racecourse from Sedgefield Racecourse in the UK where she was General Manager for over three years. Prior to that, Emma worked for ‘Go Racing in Yorkshire’ for four years where she managed the marketing and communications portfolio for all nine Yorkshire racecourses.

An ex-professional show jumper, Emma still rides regularly and has a real passion for National Hunt

racing.

Mark McMahon, Chairman of Limerick Racecourse, said: "We are delighted to appoint Emma as General Manager of Limerick Racecourse. Emma has a wealth of knowledge and experience within

the industry, and we are excited for Emma to bring her knowledge, experience, passion, and drive to

Limerick Racecourse. On behalf of the Board, we wish Emma the very best of luck in her new role.”
