Order Of Australia followed up on his Dundalk success when landing the Sycamore Lodge Equine Hospital Race in the Curragh.

The 107-rated colt had previously finished seventh in the French Derby and fourth in the Irish Derby.

He went off 6/5 favourite for this mile and a half contest and tracked Pugin before picking him off racing past the three pole.

Seamie Heffernan took a couple of lengths out of the pursuers a furlong and a half down, and it was the winning of the race as his mount toughed it out. Ebendi kept on but was held by three parts of a length in second at 12/1.

Seamie Heffernan said: “In fairness he’s never had many chances of winning races as he was working well and running in classics.

“He’s two from two now after a little break and he took a blow with me again.

“He’s going to get right up to that mark or a bit above it.”

Order Of Australia sealed a double for Aidan O'Brien and Heffernan who also took the opener with Van Gogh
