On His Own made it three for Willie Mullins on the day and two for Ruby Walsh when impressing in the Grade 2 At The Races Bobbyjo Chase at Fairyhouse.

Following on from the Closutton winners earlier, Abssysial (Paul Townend) and Beluckyagain dual Thyestes hero On His Own was always to the fore and in the main gave a good exhibition of jumping.

He wasn't great at the second last though and appeared to give market rival Mount Benbulben every chance.

However it was soon apparent that there was only going to be one result as On His Own went clear from before the last to score by twelve lengths.

The only other finishers were Buckers Bridge and Lion Na Bearnai at distances of four and three parts of a length and thirty three lengths.

"He's a natural jumper. Coming off a hard race in the Thyestes I thought it was a magnificent performance," declared Mullins.

He added: "We're certainly going to have a think about Aintree and I was quite keen to do that after the Thyestes.

"We could look to go to Punchestown instead (Bibby Financial Services Ireland (BFSI) Punchestown Gold Cup.

"I'll have a chat with Mr Wylie (owner) but I think he's after taking a jump up in grade after that.

"We might re-think Aintree after that performance.

"I was thinking it in the stands and funny enough it was the first thing Ruby said to me.

"We're just thinking he's going out of handicap company now and he could win a real good race."

B.J. Cooper, rider of Roi Du Mee (FR) trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.
