Railway Muice got that elusive first victory on his 33rd start in division two of the Adare Handicap Chase in Limerick.

Luke Dempsey 's mount overpowered The Inbetween on the long run to the second last.

They weren't booked for victory coming to the last, though, as Cash Me Outside took aim in second.

A good jump saw the leader grab the far rail and that enabled him to forge on and repel the staying-on Cash Me Outside by a neck, for trainer Paul Flynn.

Dempsey said: "He has been frustrating to say the least but it is nice to get his head in front and he did it well today.

"I was placed on him a few times and he goes well on that ground. He might pick up another one and maybe over hurdles as well."
