Simply A Breeze stamped her class on the fillies’ maiden at Killarney with a four and a half length success.

She carried a mark of 99 into battle which saw her go off the 5/6 favourite.

The Casamento filly made her move from the rear approaching the final quarter of a mile.

She was pushed along and came under Gavin Ryan’s whip passing the two pole but picked up well to move into contention with a furlong to go.

There was nothing finishing better than her, so when she hit the front in the final 150 yards she was soon able to put daylight on her rivals. Cinnte Winnte attracted support and finished second at 14/1.She was half a length in front of Nawafeth (11/2).

Trainer Johnny Feane said: "She was entitled to win that and I shouldn't have run her the last day as the ground was too quick for her.

"All her form has worked out and she just missed out on a bit of black-type (in a Group 3 at the Curragh in August) and we'll try and get black-type before the end of the year. The softer the ground the better.

"She misses the kick and likes to travel into her races and she has a good turn of foot in that ground. She was entitled to win that from the ratings and is very talented."
