Slygufftou will bid to complete a hat-trick of wins as he lines-up in the Sligo Park Hotel Handicap Hurdle at the Western venue on Tuesday evening.

After getting off the mark at Wexford last month the Michael McCullagh-trained gelding followed up at the Galway Festival.

Harangue and Medinah Gold finished second and third at Galway and they re-oppose now.

The former has since won over fences at Roscommon while the latter, who was unlucky at Galway, will be ridden by Jack Kennedy and he takes off a valuable 7lb. Steel King disappointingly pulled up in the same Galway contest but he is better than that and a much improved performance can be expected from him here.

The Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo Supporting Sligo GAA Handicap Hurdle looks a wide open affair and Personal Shopper Realta Rathcabhain, Gold Class Persian Wind Whisky Galore and Drive The Bus are a few for the shortlist.

The remaining race over jumps is the Kilcawley Construction Sligo Maiden Hurdle and Crystal Earth will be all the rage here with Ruby Walsh in the saddle.

The Dermot Weld-trained Haqeeba looks the one to side with in the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden, while three-time Sligo winner Vasoni should give a good account of herself in the Joe Queenan Gala Strandhill Supporting Sligo GAA Handicap. Three Colours Red was a fine second to Pincode at Tramore on Saturday and he is a leading contender in Sligo Racing Club Apprentice Handicap. Hard Times Irish Reel Cheval Rouge and Sr Cartage appear the ones to focus on in the Sligo Students Day 30th September Handicap, while Ivaplan Give Battle Shamash and Crossandra all look to have solid claims in the Sligo Champion Supporting Sligo GAA Maiden.
