The ground has changed slightly for day two of the Dublin Racing Festival at Leopardstown where the highlight on the card is the Unibet Irish Gold Cup.

The going is now soft, heavy in places, on the hurdle course and soft on the chase course.

There was some rain overnight and into this morning but the skies have now cleared at the Foxrock venue.

The first on an eight-race card gets underway at 12.40pm with four Grade 1 events in total including the Deloitte Novice Hurdle with Samcro facing ten rivals.

The Tattersalls Ireland Spring Juvenile Hurdle and the Flogas Novice Chase are the other top level races on the day.
