Stay Humble had been a beaten odds-on favourite three times in a row before today but made no mistake in the ladies' bumper at Downpatrick.

Katie O'Farrell 's mount was too strong for the opposition at the business end as he drew three and a half lengths clear.

He was the 5/4 favourite and was chased home by his main market rival Global Jackpot (2/1). Happy Lad outran his 33/1 odds to finish a neck off Global Jackpot.

Katie O'Farrell said: "Those races are never straightforward no matter what they look like on paper. Bumpers are hard to win. He was very good and he stuck at it well

"Willie (Mullins) wanted me to be up there and positive. He said sometimes a lot of people think they are going to go on and then you get left behind. I said I would ride him good and positive, he's not the quickest in the world but he stays going all day."

And on her alliance with Mullins, she added: "Long may any success continue but I've been with Willie a good while now and have a good strike rate with him.

"It's great to get a winner especially in these colours (Andrea & Graham Wylie)."
