Moone, County Kildare-based handler Tara Lee Cogan saddled her first winner on the level when Bobby Jean landed the TipperaryRaces.ie Handicap in the hands of Colm O'Donoghue.

Bobby Jean, by the late Jeremy, who also had two winners on the card at Cork on Saturday, when the card was similarly testing, came through from behind here, down the outer in the straight.

The 14/1 chance led a furlong out and in the end she had three lengths to spare over Pepparpot

Well-backed pair Dragon Khan and Yes I Am finished third and sixth respectively.

"She got her ground today and was a bit weak last year. She's in again at Limerick on Thursday and if it rains, she'll go there," stated the winning trainer.

"That's my first flat winner and my third in total and I have to say thanks to both Jessica Harrington and Peter Fahey who have been a great help to me.

"She is owned by my mother (Monica Cogan) and by my husband (Liam Browne)-it might encourage him to get another one!" (TW & EM)
