The Moyglass Flyer justified good support in an ultra-competitive Paddy Power Games ‘Don’t Think You’re Special’ Handicap Hurdle at Leopardstown.

The Galileo gelding was supported on track from 6/1 into 4/1 joint favourite and was never far from the pace under Mark Walsh in this 25-runner two-mile event.

The lightly-raced five-year-old kept on best in the closing stages and had a length and a half to spare at the line over Daybreak Boy with Golden Jewel a further length and a quarter back in third.

Thatsy was close-up in fourth with Ilikedwayurthinkin in fifth.

Winning trainer Joseph O’Brien said, “I was a bit worried about his lack of experience but Mark gave him a lovely ride and he jumped well. His jumping had let him down a bit previously.

“He ran well on his run of the season at Navan and that was another step forward.

“He looks like a horse that might stay further and certainly will handle a step up in class.”
