The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Liam Walsh, that L.J. McGuinness, rider of Pivot Bridge (GB), had attempted to weigh out at 2lbs overweight and wearing an unapproved body protector. He added that he had inadvertadly worn the wrong one to the scales. In relation to the 2lbs overweight he stated that this was his first day back race riding since being injured six weeks ago and he was riding in his lightest saddle. Stephen Toner, Authorised representative for Adrian McGuinness attended this enquiry. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that L.J.
