Runner-up at Gowran two starts back, 7/2 favourite Bread And Butter was a ready winner of the MansionBet’s Beaten By A Head Handicap Hurdle.

Conor McNamara ’s mount was prominent all the way and went to the front before two out as longtime leader Bourbon Borderline began to tire.

The Westerner gelding was able to clear away from that point as Rebel Waltz came through after the last to get second place, five and a half lengths adrift of the winner.

Winning trainer Gavin Cromwell (after his double at Kilbeggan on Monday) said: "He had a little break in between runs and did well during it.

"He was flat to the boards at Downpatrick the last day and couldn't lie up but loved the bit of juice in the ground today.

"He's only a small little summer horse and hopefully the handicapper isn't too hard on him."
