Tyrion's Dream has hit form with a vengeance and supplemented his recent course and distance victory with another one in division two of the seven-furlong handicap.

The three-year-old gelding was always to the fore down the centre of the track in his pursuit of pace-setting Cliffs Of Freedom who utilised the stands' side rail.

Tyrion's Dream wore down the leader coming to the final furlong and was soon ridden by Leigh Roche to go and win his race.

Cliffs Of Freedom gave best with 200 yards to go as Max's Dandy (11/1) picked up the chase.

The latter kept on well but always held in going down by three quarters of a length to the 10/1 winner.

The front two had the race to themselves and nothing came out od the pack. The gambled-on Cliffs Of Freedom (14/1 - 7/1) was eight lengths adrift in third. Musalsal (11/1) was three quarters of a length further away in fourth.

“He did it nicely. They went a good gallop and he wasn't able to dictate but he battled all the way to the line,” said trainer Aidan Howard.

“He has a big heart because that is tough going. He's for sale as the owner as other horses coming along.”
