Master Of Time reversed the form of two weeks ago with Fight U For It as he took the ‘Ladbrokes Odds On! 3-y-o Handicap’ under Colm O’Donoghue for Paul Deegan.

Having won on his fourth career start, and handicap debut, over the course and distance late last month, the son of Amadeus Wolf found Fight U For It half a length too good over seven furlongs here a fortnight ago.

Back up to a mile this evening, the Paolo Zambelli owned victor was sent off the 5/2 favourite, having opened at 7/2 last night with Paddy Power, and 3/1 on-course.

After breaking slowly, he was quickly pushed into the lead, and disputed for much of the contest, before getting to the front over two furlongs out.

He was under pressure at this stage, and he responded well to it, keeping on in the closing stages to see off the challenge of Political Policy (4/1), under Shane Foley for Mick Halford, by half a length.

Paul Deegan said afterwards: "That’s lovely, it's great and he is going the right way. "He is progressing, but the plan is still to go to a sale with him. He might go to the sale before Royal Ascot.

"We will see what the handicapper does, but we will come back here for something similar.

"He got into a lovely rhythm and was quite gritty at the end, and hopefully there is another one in him."
