< Deauville dented the lofty reputation of Sanus Per Aquam to land the Japanese Racing Association Tyros Stakes at Leopardstown.

Jim Bolger's unbeaten son of Teofilo was backed into 1-3 favouritism, and all appeared to be going to plan as he took up the running on the turn for home, with Deauville off the bridle a long way out under Joseph O'Brien.

Aidan O'Brien's 9-2 chance found more in the closing stages, though, getting on top close home to score by half a length.< Tanaza showed a decent turn of foot to land the Group Three Jockey Club Of Turkey Silver Flash Stakes.

Held up off the pace by Pat Smullen, the 7-4 chance appeared to have plenty to do on the turn for home as favourite Alice Springs moved into the lead.

Dermot Weld's charge found another gear close home, though, getting past Alice Springs in the final furlong and going on to win by a length and a quarter.< Corstorphine ran out a gutsy winner of the Frank Conroy EBF Maiden.

John Oxx's 5-1 chance showed the benefit of his Curragh debut behind Sanus Per Aquam when making all under Declan McDonogh, repelling the persistent challenge of Whiskey Zulu by half a length.< Pullman Brown powered to victory in the 'Damian Dempsey' Handicap.

David Marnane's 5-2 favourite drew alongside Aurelia Cotta at the furlong power and streaked away under Connor King, scoring by four lengths.< Hurricane Sky produced a strong late surge under Fran Berry to land the Korean Racing Authority Handicap.

With only four going to post, Berry was happy to sit and wait on Charles O'Brien's 10-3 chance, before collaring favourite Benkei on the home straight and running on strongly to score.< Knights Templar (8-1) just edged out favourite Korbous to land the Morocco SOREC Apprentice Handicap for trainer Pat Flynn and jockey Conor Hoban.
