< Days Hotel registered his third victory in the Paddy Power Over 260 Shops Nationwide Chase at Naas.

Successful in this Grade Two in 2013 and 2014, Henry de Bromhead's veteran hadn't managed to get his head in front since the last of those, although he had run respectably this campaign.

Andrew Lynch dictated terms to suit himself on the 7-2 chance and with his mount relishing the testing conditions, he saved enough to go away again after the last to beat Twinlight by seven and a half lengths, with Simply Ned a disappointing third.

Ball D'Arc stepped up from last month's Listed success to claim the other Grade Two on the card, the Paddy Power Shops Better Value Novice Hurdle.

Gordon Elliott's 5-1 shot cruised up on the outside to challenge, only to be headed by Moon Over Germany between the last two, but Ball D'Arc found an extra gear after the final flight and stayed on to triumph by a couple of lengths.< Marlbrook led his rivals a merry dance to collect the big pot on offer in the Woodlands 100 Club Nas Na Riogh Novice Handicap Chase.

Barry Geraghty was aggressive from the outset on the 2-1 favourite and with Vicangelome the only one close enough to present a problem from the second-last, Marlbrook stretched clear again to triumph by six lengths.< Vigil is set for one or more of the spring festivals after making it second-time lucky over timber, winning the Paddy Power ACCA Insurance Maiden Hurdle in a style befitting a 2-9 favourite.

Dermot Weld's classy bumper performer headed tearaway leader Killahara Castle on the run to two out and didn't have to come out of second gear to beat Coeur Joyeux by three and a quarter lengths.< Conright Boy (16-1) stole a march on his Paddy Power Collect Your Bets In Any Shop Handicap Hurdle rivals early in the straight and had enough in reserve to repel Ice Cool by three and three-quarter lengths.< Fergiethelegend (8-1) won the Kildare Post Handicap Chase, while 8-11 favourite Avenir D'Une Vie was too good in the Paddy Power Clane Shop (Pro/Am) Flat Race.
