< Unowhatimeanharry got back to winning ways with a thrilling success in the Ladrokes Champion Stayers Hurdle at Punchestown.

Noel Fehily held up the Harry Fry-trained 4-1 chance, but pushed on a long way from home and had a small but significant lead over Nichols Canyon two out.

Nichols Canyon gradually reduced that lead all the way up the straight, but Unowhatimeanharry held firm to win by a head.

Fry and Fehily followed up when Minella Awards landed the Shamrock Enterprises Handicap Hurdle.

A titanic battle with fellow British raider No Comment ensued in the straight, with Fry's 7-1 joint favourite eventually coming out on top.

A stunning round of jumping from Great Field gave Jody McGarvey his first Grade One success in the Ryanair Novice Chase.

Willie Mullins' 9-10 favourite set off very quickly and simply kept going, floating over the fourth last to put daylight between himself and his rivals and keeping up the gallop to score by 11 lengths from Ordinary World

That kickstarted a double for Mullins, with his second win coming courtesy of a well-judged Ruby Walsh ride from the front on Asthuria (-1) in the Alanna Homes Mares Novice Hurdle.

Shay Slevin's 10-1 chance Treo Eile came out on top of a titanic duel with Cantlow to land the Friends First Cross Country Chase For The La Touche Cup under Barry Cash's strong drive.< Don't Touch It gave Jessie Harrington a double on the day when hanging on to win the pigsback.com Nick Coen Memorial Handicap Chase.

The 5-1 chance was travelling much the best under Mark Walsh at the second last, but was all out after the last to fend off the late challenge of Caolaneoin by half a length.

Harrington had earlier struck when Power steered Bobabout (8-1) through some traffic issues to land a last-gasp victory in the JLT Handicap Hurdle.
