The Willie Mullins trained Muthaza made it two from two over hurdles, as she ran out an easy winner of the Irish Mirror Novice Hurdle.

A three time victor on the level in her native France, the daughter of Muhtathir was successful on her Irish debut at Tramore earlier this month.

Sent off the 1/2 favourite this evening, she raced in third under Paul Townend and went second four flights from home.

She cruised to the front after the next, and never came off the bridle, going on to score by six and a half lengths. Buyer Beware (10/1) was ten lengths back in second under Roger Loughran for Gordon Elliott, while the front-running Jaime Sommers was a further seven lengths away in third under Rachael Blackmore for Michael Bowe.

Paul Townend said afterwards: "She did it well and did what we expected her to do. She's a nice filly.

"They went quick enough and the drop back to two mile one didn't seem to be a problem for her.

"She's probably above average."
