Cocohulababy was one of the liveliest in morning trading for tonight's meeting at Dundalk, and those that invested in Noel Meade's filly were rewarded in style when she convincingly delivered under Shane Foley in the Foran Equine Irish EBF Auction Maiden (Plus 10 Race).

Foley donned the familiar Liam Queally silks on the Casamento filly. It was the first time that the luminous green and green check, orange cap, have passed the post in front since 2010.

Following on from Wishing Star in the previous heat, there was another promising Fozzy Stack newcomer here.

However Tooreen Katie failed by two and half lengths to Cocohulababy.

"She ran well here the first day and she did a lovely piece of work in Navan and that's why we ran her in Leopardstown and she got no run. She was nearly good for a place there in what was a good maiden," explained Meade on the 9/4 joint favourite.

"She was kind of a good-thing here this evening at the weights. She will go to Naas for the Final assuming the ground is not too heavy. I think she does want fast ground, and she will be a mile and a quarter filly next year.

"She is a real slick mover and a nice long level straight like that suits her."

W.M. Lordan, rider of Belle Free trained by Joseph G. Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung left.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Twickenham ridden by C.T. Keane, Idalia ridden by R.P. Cleary, and Khwarizmi (USA), ridden by O.J. Orr, where it appeared Twickenham ran short of room on the inner.

Evidence was heard from the riders concerned.

Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the took no further action.

O.J. Orr, rider of Khwarizmi (USA), trained by David Marnane, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled.
