Daryl Jacob will face a disciplinary panel of the British Horseracing Authority on Thursday over the charge of "acting in an improper manner" at Cheltenham on October 27.

The top jumps jockey is alleged to have shouted at amateur Noel George and grabbed his silks following the Brandon Hill Capital Handicap Hurdle.

Jacob finished 13th of the 21 starters on Creep Desbois, with George, who claims 7lb, third on KK Lexion.

Graham Gibbons will next Monday have his appeal over a two-year suspension heard by an appeal board.

Last month, Gibbons was suspended for a combined period of two and a half years by a BHA disciplinary panel after testing positive for a metabolite of cocaine when he attempted to swap urine samples with another rider, Callum Shepherd, at a meeting at Kempton.
