Put The Kettle On completed a four-timer at Wexford today as the Henry De Bromhead trained mare landed the Audrey McGrath Memorial Rated Novice Chase under jockey Hugh Morgan.

The daughter of Stowaway was initially successful this summer at Killarney in May before adding wins at Downpatrick in June and Tipperary in July. Today she survived a second last fence mistake when eventually beating runner-up Victoria Bay by two and a quarter lengths.

Afterwards De Bromhead said “I'm delighted for everyone involved in the syndicate and we are having some run with her and she is a lovely mare.

“She jumped brilliant, Hugh was great on her and just at the last two she landed a bit funny after them but that was it.

“We might have a look at the black-type chase at Tipperary in early October with her next.”
