Trinidad based owner Sonny Acham was on hand to welcome back in his winner Dubai Rainbow at Dundalk again as she made all to land the second division of the mile handicap on the card tonight.

The owner had also been in attendance when the Eddie Lynam-trained filly had won her only other race here last October.

Oisin Orr gave the 9/2 favourite a positive ride as he bounced out in front and she kept on well in the closing stages as Roman Warrior finished off well to get within half a length.

“The owner is a better judge than me. He flew over from Trinidad once last year and she won and he flew over today and she won so he obviously knows more than the trainer,” said Lynam.

“I thought it was a pretty competitive handicap and I was particularly afraid of Hidden Spark (finished fourth).

“It's nice to win, he's a lovely man and he's had horses with me for a long time.

"He was introduced to me by Mick Molloy and the Kerr family. The Kerrs were very famous trainers in Clonee and trained a lot of top sprinters and milers back in the day.

“When they retired I got to train for him. He's been very good, a lovely man. He's ninety odd and he's in great nick. You won't see me at 92 unless you get a ouija board!”
