Henry de Bromhead, runner-up with Tiger Voice in the opener, went one better when saddling Imperial View to take the Follow Tipperary Races On Facebook Mares Maiden Hurdle.

The daughter of Imperial Monarch showed the benefit of her debut under rules at Listowel last month when landing some nice bets in this 2m4f event.

Backed on track from 12/1 into 7/1, she headed Dime A Dozen just before the final flight and kept on well on the run-in.

Rachael Blackmore ’s mount had two and three quarter lengths to spare at the line with Global Equity catching the eye staying on well in the closing stages a further five lengths adrift in third.

De Bromhead said, "She is a lovely mare and we bought her out of a point to point last year from Michael Murphy in Wexford who recommended her. Fair play to him and she has been lovely since we got her and seems a lovely nice mare who seemed green and hopefully will improve again.

"She is a real chasing mare, Rachael was brilliant on her and she looked a staying type there. I'm delighted with her and it is great to get it for the Schusters."
