Noel Meade continues to send out winners of all types of races, and after Dadoozdart had earlier taken the feature on Limerick’s Flat card, he saddled Henry Brown (14/1) to win on his debut in the 2m 4f Irish Stallion Farms EBF Auction INH Flat Race.

Mark O’Hare’s mount, by Mahler, got the better of the 9/4 favourite Eurotiep inside the final furlong to score by two and a half lengths, with Wingin A Prayer (5/1) six lengths back in third place.

“That's Mark’s 3lbs claim gone now,” said Noel Meade after the race.

“I'm not saying he took me by surprise but he's a weak horse. We knew he stayed quite well but I think he'll improve a lot with a bit of time. He's a big leggy horse.

“He stayed very well and jumps very well so hopefully he'll be a nice horse.

“I'd imagine he'll go hurdling now. We bought him off 'Puppy' Power at the Land Rover sale and he's for sale.”
