The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap at Navan is becoming something of a favourite for Dylan Browne McMonagle.

The Donegal teenager recorded his first winner in the race last year and claimed the €28,500 contest again this term with Memyselfandmoi

Joseph O'Brien 's charge produced a fine front-running performance in the mile contest.

The 15/2 shot stayed on well for her rider late on to record a neck success over Stormy Belle

“She'd gallop through a wall for you, she's so tough,” said assistant Brendan Powell.

“When she came she was quite an excitable filly at home. JJ (Slevin) rides her every day and he's done a good job on her.

“She settled on her first few runs and Joseph thought she'd probably need further so the last couple of times she's bounced out.

“Everything will come to her but she's as hard as nails. She'll gallop and gallop. She's done it well today.

“That's Joseph's 100th Flat winner of the calendar year. It's good going with the Covid and the time off.”
