Declan McDonogh took both divisions of Dundalk's seven-furlong handicap as Linus Larrabee (16/5) obliged in the second split.

There was a whole of horses in with chances a furlong and a half out but it was Linus Larrabee who soon worked his way into the lead.

He forged on well in the final furlong and, despite edging right in the final 100 yards, had too much for second-placed Power Of Lazarus (25/1).

The winning margin was half a length. Porterinthejungle came in third at 9/1, beaten a further three quarters of a length.

“He was probably due one. He's been running well and got his day today which is great,” said Eddie Lynam.

“It's good to get it, we bred him and we have the dam. I trained the sire (Slade Power) as well.”
