FormscanBy Donal Murphy - HERO OF THE HOUR might be able to make the breakthrough in first time blinkers. The locally trained six-year-old has just 11 runs to her name and is open to improvement. She was fourth over the course and distance nine days ago, with Betrayed and Zig Zag Zyggy in first and third respectively. First time blinkers clearly helped Betrayed on that occasion and it'll come as little surprise if she manages to follow-up, with Robert Whearty again claiming a valuable 7lb. Zig Zag Zyggy has been knocking on the door of late and is sure to have plenty of supporters, while others for the shortlist in this competitive contest are No Speed Limit, Empress Of Bough, Florence Thompson and last year's winner Teddy Boy.
An extended handicap for three years old and upwards rated 47-65Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
