FormscanBy Michael Graham - IMPAIRE ET PASSE is a French import who is likely to have a big future with Willie Mullins. He won his sole race on the Flat in France by six lengths in March. The fact he holds a Grade 1 novice hurdle entry for Leopardstown at Christmas looks particularly telling. Firm Footings is a former Galway bumper winner who finished second on his hurdling debut over further at this track last month. He was a long way behind the winner, but that horse is now a leading fancy for the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. True Artist showed much more when fourth at Cork in November and can build upon that. Cadatharla was a never nearer seventh in a big field at Naas. Winners have come out of that race, so he can get closer. Battle It Out wasn't cheap at the Sales while Star Harbour was useful on the Flat.
