FormscanBy Alan Magee - BRADSELL was wildly impressive on debut at York and confirmed that view by landing the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot. The Archie Watson-trained colt had Persian Force a length and a half back in second with Blackbeard soundly beaten in fourth, and the form could hardly have worked out any better with Persian Force winning the July Stakes, the third Royal Scotsman subsequently landing the Richmond Stakes and Blackbeard the Prix Robert Papin – all Group 2 races. Ryan Moore has sided with Little Big Bear and that is hardly surprising as he also looks a very exciting prospect after quickening clear here last month for a wide margin success in the Anglesey Stakes. Shartash touched off Blackbeard over course and distance in the Railway Stakes with Apache Outlaw just over a length away in third.
