FormscanBy Gary Carson - Patrick Mullins sides with RATH GAUL BOY and he gets the vote in this winners contest. The Well Chosen gelding made a good impression when winning on his 'track' debut at Leopardstown back in March and was far from disgraced when fifth in a Grade 2 contest at Aintree last month. Stable-mate Sir Argus is probably the danger. He beat another of today's rivals, The Last Mardi at Thurles in March, and went on to run a nice race when second in a strong contest at Punchestown. It will be interesting to see how the form shakes out from that race though as odds-on shot James's Gate was a disappointment. The Last Mardi gained a narrow success at Ballinrobe last time and looks to have place claims now.
