FormscanBy Michael Graham - There was plenty to like about MELNIK's debut third last season, so he could be worth chancing up in trip on seasonal reappearance. The son of Churchill ran in a big-field maiden at the Curragh in October and stayed on well to finish third, beaten by a length and a half. The horse in second has since won twice, including at Listed level, and was runner-up in a Group 3 on Sunday. The 82-rated Culcor is dangerous in first-time blinkers. He has run behind some more than useful winners, particularly when third in Cork. Marhaba Ashmayme has been beaten half a length into second in both starts and wouldn't need much more to score from the best draw. Joseph O'Brien's stable is in flying form and his Schiele has been running very consistently over shorter trips.
