FormscanBy Tom Weekes - SAM'S CHOICE could be a useful prospect and can win on second start here. He ran very well behind a stablemate on debut over course and distance earlier this month and while the form is largely untested as yet, the third-placed horse did previously place on debut and in all likelihood it was probably a good bumper and SAM'S CHOICE can be expected to improve from the run. Phillapa Sue has herself shown a useful level of ability in two bumper runs. Lockdown ended her season in March but a reproduction of her latest Naas run would give her strong claims here, albeit she is vulnerable to smart types. Colonel Mustard comes here fit and well following a good debut run at Killarney and while well touted then, this is possibly a stronger bumper. The Dude Abides has shown bits of useful form and can get involved for the placings for his trainer/jockey while Battling Warrior was beaten a long way on his latest hurdles run but had previously shown some form in bumpers. Kilkenny Star is the second foal from a bumper winning dam whose first runner has won three races and she could well figure on debut from a very capable yard.%0A
