FormscanBy Michael Graham - This has the potential to be a good race between CROWNS MAJOR and Top Bandit. Crowns Major, who was more than useful on the Flat, made a successful transition to hurdling when bolting up by seven lengths in a maiden at Cork. Top Bandit won his maiden hurdle at Cheltenham and followed up in a rated novice hurdle at this track. Both carry an official rating of 128 into battle. After Crowns Major won in Cork, his trainer Emmet Mullins commented that he would get an entry for the Grade 1 Royal Bond which shows the regard in which he is held. The Names Jock is rated 123 and receives 5lb from the aforementioned pair so has to be given a chance.
