FormscanBy Michael Graham - RIVIERA SUN was waited with in Tipperary before staying on well to get to within a short head of the winner, his stablemate Mind's Eye. Hugh Morgan was on board that winner and now partners Riviera Sun, and is good value for his 7lb claim. That was a better class of race in Tipperary, and Riviera Sun has to be tempting with Morgan's claim now factored in. Cusp Of Carabelli ran well for third in the Galway Blazers on soft ground. He has plenty of form on better ground and three of his four career victories have come at this racecourse. He looks dangerous. Woodbrook Boy is in a rich vein of form that began with a victory (over Crimson Chief) over a similar trip at this venue towards the end of July. He then built upon that to score by six lengths at Wexford earlier in the month. Trip and ground will be fine and he is a good jumper, but this is a hotter race and he is up 10lbs in the weights. Crimson Chief is certainly weighted to turn around that length and three quarter beating here last month, when a never nearer second. He runs off a very light weight and has to be respected.
