Bonarc might make race fitness count though, and the angle of her having had a spin over fences last time is appealing. It can often sharpen up a horse, switching between disciplines, and John Ryan’s inmates continue to run well. Bonarc of course, crossed the line in front already in a maiden hurdle, but was subsequently disqualified (prohibited substance) at Roscommon in June. James O’Sullivan’s presence aboard the Arcadio mare, with his seven pound claim, is a help too. Others to keep in mind are Champagne Gold and Pienta.
