FormscanBy Alan Magee - DISSOCIATE made a promising debut on soft ground here at Guineas weekend when runner-up to She’s Trouble with subsequent Group 2 winner Agartha back in third. The Paddy Twomey-trained filly was found to be lame when disappointing subsequently at Leopardstown. Any improvement on that debut run would surely see her go close. Toy is certainly bred in the purple being a sister to Gleneagles as well as other Group 1 winners Marvellous, Happily and Joan Of Arc, while Aidan O’Brien is also represented by another nicely bred Galileo filly in Ark. Ha Ha Ha cost 400,000 at the Goffs Orby Sale last year and is a half-sister to Jack Naylor, a Group 3 winner for Jessica Harrington and also runner-up in the Irish Oaks. Riding arrangements suggest Scarlet Angel is preferred of Ger Lyons two newcomers, while Sceolan caught the eye when staying on late at Naas last time.
