FormscanBy Alan Magee - BONNIE KELLIE is taken to defy a 10lb hike for a convincing win at Punchestown last Monday with Davy Russell a significant booking. The Sam Curling-trained mare was in the process of running a big race when falling at the last in the Naas maiden won by Routine Excellence. That form has been well advertised since and she quickened up nicely on the run-in to score at Punchestown. Thefaithfulindian progressed well winning three times on the Flat in the autumn of 2020 including off a mark of 70 at the Curragh but didn’t really threaten in a light campaign last year. She’s never shown much over hurdles and now returns to that sphere after a near two-year gap off a lowly mark. Must Be Dreaming and Cool Rain could both be of interest on their handicap debuts while Two Shoe Tom wasn’t disgraced at Navan on Saturday.
